Ryan Lattanzio is the executive editor at IndieWire, overseeing film coverage and writing reviews and features for the site, where he’s been since 2019. He also co-hosts the IndieWire podcast Screen Talk with Anne Thompson, with a weekly update on industry, festival, and awards news. He has served on festival juries including at Cannes, SXSW, and Montclair, among others, and has received multiple SoCal Journalism Awards nominations. Previously, he was a staff writer/editor for IndieWire’s Thompson on Hollywood, served as communications editor for the American Film Institute and wrote for the San Francisco Chronicle and since-folded alt-weekly SF Bay Guardian, among other publications. He holds a B.A. in English literature from University of California, Berkeley.
