Mike D'Angelo
Mike D'Angelo is film critic of Esquire magazine. He was a film critic for Time Out New York from 2000-2004.
D'Angelo began writing film criticism as a hobby while still an undergraduate at New York University, where he studied dramatic writing. His relentlessly sardonic and determinedly low-tech personal website, The Man Who Viewed Too Much, attracted the attention of Entertainment Weekly, to which he contributed regular freelance movie reviews from 1997-2000. A native of San Jose, CA, he currently lives in Brooklyn with two absurdly adorable cats and just way the hell too many DVDs.
